Attendant Scheduling
The Service Allows you to build a completely custom attendant schedule no matter the type of attendant responsibilities you have in your congregation. You just assign the brothers who handle each responsibility and the Service App will automatically populate the schedule twelve weeks in advance.
Although the scheduling is set up to be completely automatic, manual control can be taken if you wish.
Any number of attendant roles can be created and configured in the Service App.
Part of creating the role is assigning the approved publishers that can be automatically assigned. The publishers set in this field are the ones the app will rotate through when assigning the responsibility each meeting.
By default only brothers (baptised or unbaptised) are shown, but if neccesary, a toggle is available "Show All Publishers" which will enable you to select from all publishers in your congregation.
Once attendant roles have been created a schedule will start to be automatically populated.
This schedule can be manually edited and each assignment can be changed. Only publishers that have been approved for the attendant role being edited can be chosen from.
However, there is a toggle called "Show All Publishers". When toggled on, any publisher in the congregation can be chosen for manual assigning.
You won't need to worry about an attendant responsibility conflicting with an assigned meeting part, or even a publishers holiday. The Service App periodically double checks the attendant schedule to ensure there are no conflict, and if it comes across a conflict it will swap the brother out for another approved brother who is available.
